Mike & Helen Parker: Middle East

Mike was Rector of St Thomas’ in the ‘90s. His long-term interest in the Middle East led him to move to Cyprus and then Cairo where he worked as International Director for MECO before it merged with SIM. Although based in Edinburgh, Mike has responsibility for SIM staff in the Middle East and so frequently tours there, often accompanied by Helen. His role is to support and encourage the staff team in the Middle East.
