St Thomas' Church supports Edinburgh City Mission Basics Bank.

Edinburgh City Mission works together with a local network of voluntary and charitable agencies who refer clients for assistance through a voucher referral scheme which ensures that help is given to those with genuine needs. Basics Bank does not offer permanent help – it is there to help people on their way out of crisis. Help can be provided for up to two months, after which they re-assess the need for further assistance.

Please continue to give generously to our collection for the ECM Basics Bank. The box is located in the main hall on a Sunday morning. There is a particular need for rice, soup, sugar, tinned fish and meats, tinned fruits, shampoo and toothpaste and all types of toiletries.
